From A1 heading North:

·      Take first exit off A1 sign-posted for Alnwick.

·      Drive over two roundabouts following signs for Alnwick town centre.

·      (X) After about ½ a mile you will see a brown sign on your left for “Barter Books”.

·      Immediately after this, turn left up Prudhoe Street. (Not the very sharp left at the same junction ).

·      Follow Prudhoe Street passing a police station on the left and a church on the right (St Paul’s).

·      Just after the church turn left up Percy Terrace.

·      After about 50m you will see South Street* on your left.

·      Take the gravel road opposite this.

·      Loan End House is straight ahead. You can collect keys here.

·      Loan End Cottage is behind the house.

·      Continue up a small track to the right of the house where there is parking.

From Morrisons car park in the Town Centre:

·      Left onto Lagny Street

·      Right up Clayport Street

·      First left onto Tower Lane

·      Road bends round to the left

·      Take second right up Percy Street

·      St Paul’s Church will be on your left

·      At crossroads drive straight over onto Percy Terrace.

·      After about 50m you will see South Street* on your left.

·      Take the gravel road opposite this.

·      Loan End House is straight ahead. You can collect keys here.

·      Loan End Cottage is behind the house.

·      Continue up a small track to the right of the house where there is parking.

From A1 heading South:

·      Take about 3rd sign to Alnwick which is signposted  “ Alnwick Ashington Alnmouth”.

·      Turn right at first roundabout and follow directions from  (X).
